would anyone be interested ?

I bet missinglinc could run with a sprayed LS.

unless I'm missing somthing....and very well could be, do tell how a stall converter, and a polished TB will keep up with a sprayed LS? Last time I read somthing, thats what he had....

now ur makin me curious, i wont race you, but what makes you so much faster then everyone else's...

because he's got this setup!

Well, a stall allows you to stay in your power band a lot longer. You don't gain hp, but you stay in the higher hp range a lot longer. Ever notice on a WOT run she doesn't quite kick in with the power until like 3000rpm? That's where he starts.

He may have done something else too since last I talked to him. But I'd like to meet up at the track with him after I stall and gear my LS. More for helping out the track noob (I've never been to the track before) to try to get the best times out of it.

10-4...I mean it when I say I could be wrong, I'm no pro by far but in my experience, when I put a bigger stall in my Nova, it left harder, yes, was it faster...not really..Igained only 1 tenth in the quarter mile...and it was way harder to not spin the tires.

Yeah, I was assuming all traction available. LSD with some nice wide tires would help.

yep, no doubt he is faster than me, and most LS's on here, but it seems a 100 or 125 shot of juice would win over the stall...provided, thats all he has....

Maybe we should find somewhere to stop for the LS meet in MN, where we can um... see who's LS is fastest, not top end but yea.. :D

The stall and my Nitto street slicks are my only mods right now and those are only 255's..

Couldn't have left that much harder if all you gained was a tenth;)

It left quite a bit harder, but I had to do so much to keep the tires under the car, in the end a tenth was all I gained. I ran 5 runs with the stall, then 2 weeks later on the way to work, the entire rear axle decided not to reside under the car any longer. I soon pulled the engine and sold the battered shell.

I may have picked up a little more had I learned to launch it...but I didn't

Sounds good, get everyone else to agree lol

I tried to get everyone to do a track day last spring. BIR has a road course too that would be hella fun. But not many wanted to. Probably because it's in the $200 range to get in.
