We've tried before. I know NickT88LSC here would be game provided whatever date that's picked his weekend is open. I'd even come with the 300.
 
I am up for it. I am actually going to put up a LS meet here on the island once happysacks00 gets his LS fixed up.

It will be me, Rich88LSC, Happysacks00 and Longisland LS (i haven't spoken to LILS in a while, i gotta let him know).

Tom- if you and nick wanna meet us up, you guys are more than welcome to.
Stallone- how far are you from long island?Are you willing to travel?
 
Yea, that's cool. You LI guys never seem to like to leave that island. Can't say I blame ya with all that damn traffic and whatnot. I went through the same thing with the Mark VII guys. lol
 
I hear ya on the traffic part. I don't mind leaving the island. If we can set up a place to meet where its best for everyone than that's fine with me.
 
I'd leave the island if people will actually show up. Plan on E-town a lot when it warms up. That will hopefully be in the Mark though.
 
Sounds good fellas. I will try to work out a few possible dates (and a location), so that we could pick a day that would fit in everyone's schedule. If everything goes according to the plan, there should be 7 or 8 of us.
 
LS meets are specifically designed for Mid West / West Coast users. All you East coasters are too busy tapping trees for syrup or something to figure this out. Also, we have nothing to do here in MN so it gets us away from doing nothing. Surprisingly, the meets are fun for like an hour then people get all awkward and stuff...
 
Id be down for a meet at E-town, thats the only reason Id go to Jersey.. Only like a 2hr drive for me..

That's because there is no beer involved. Or because I was either:

1. hopped up on pain pills from a back injury (The meet with me, you, nic, and john when he drove the vette)

or

2. HUNG OVER. The last meet we had. I went to a music event called Rock the Boat. String 2 riverboats together, 2 bars, 2 stages, 6 bands, and drinking til 2 am the night before. That makes for a not very sociable pete the next day. Plus, I have to take all the photos, so not much time for conversation.

I say next time we have a campout or something. Get wasted, have a fire, all that good MN stuff. You guys should come up north. We got hella nice places around here, off the beaten path, and public land so no charges for any camping. We even have a couple islands that we camp on. It's effing awesome.

Of course, any LVC'er is welcome, not just LS guys. I'm catching crap from the mark side of the forum for not inviting them to the "LS" meets. They're right though. It's more about the people than the cars anyways.
