OK, today I took off the beauty cover and capped off the resonator on my friend's 93 Mark VIII and changed the oil with Mobil 1 5w-20 and K&N oil filter. When I was taking off one of the bolts for the beauty cover, it fell some where by the intake manifold and I can't find it. Is this a big deal? I test drove it around the block and it was running better than ever...

as long as it didnt fall inside the intake its good......... the bolt is probably just sitting in the valley under the intake manifold............

Likely just sitting between one of the many intake tubes or fell down beneath that. If you pull the alternator you have a good view of under the intake. I've dropped something down there before and thats how I got it.

You mean inside the intake tube into the throttle body? I never took off the intake tube, just the beauty cover and resonator.

Once the alternator is off a magnet will get it.

Or just forget about it, it can't get into anything...the mice will carry it away eventually.
