Woohoo Lamin-X!

It's sunny out today, so I decided to cover up the top half of ,IMHO, fugly two-toned tails with some lamin x. I was having a good time until I had to cut it, but in the end, it came out decent for a kid can barely walk with scissors.

Had a wee little problem when cutting around the first light.
I actually cut through the tail light like a dumb fukc. Beware, it's not pretty.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Besides the gash and some rough edges, I'd say it looks pretty damn good compared to the white/red combo. I didn't mind the two-tone when I bought it, but after staring at it, it begins to look like an old fart's car.

Using email attachments as pictures won't work bud.

Save them to your desktop, and upload to tinypic/imageshack, and use the direct links instead.

The only way to fix the ginormous scratch is to wetsand and buff. Drive it over here. I'll do it for ya.

Nah that's ok. Can't worry about it now, I have other things to look forward to pay for. Gotta learn how to fix the little bullsiht on my own.

Have you considered trading someone your two tones for all red tails?maybe that would benifet them and you.or cover the wholee tail with the red lamin x,maybe thatl yield better results..

Trust me, if I found someone around here with LSE tails, I would ask them to consider trading. I once begged an old lady for her stock 17's, but obviously she is a member of this site because I couldn't get her to take my 16's.

Also, covering the red half with the lamin x didn't really make a difference in the shade. Most likely I'd have to put LEDs in if I was covering the whole tail anyway since the stock bulb is gets hot enough to crack tint. The lamin x would probably melt.

I'm very satisfied with the red/red. Looks like big rubies.
