Hi,

I have a 96 mark VIII and somtimes when the car is already warm i will go to start it and the starter will turn but the engine will not fire up. When this happens i have to spray some pristone starter fuild into the intake tube then it starts right up. has anyone else had this problem? what should i try to do to fix it?

Have you checked for codes? I'm thinking cam timing sensor

next time if it dosnt start cycle the key a few times, then try starting it (fuel pump)

Check fuel pressure at rail when car is in a no start mode.

It did it again tonight i tried what you said chicken but it did not work. I did not have the time to check the fual pressure at the rails i will do that next time. So what do you guys think fuel pump most likly?
