hid wiring for conversion blue and black wire from ballast goes to ?
cut what, splice to what ?, thanks for any help

There is a ground and power wire to the ballast and the output to the light.

You should run a relay for the power wire to get all the power the battery has and not load your headlight system. Needed for a gen 1 and recommended for a gen 2.

not plug and play, genII 1998 lsc 77,000 white pearl, dlf said no relay needed, 2 wire feed, black and blue from ballast on these just want to know if i bypass old wiring and go to wires off batt?

you just need to hook up your new ballast to the wires that powered the old ballast.

i have no idea what color they might be.

According to the Ford Wiring it shows from the Steering column/ignition/lightning module at the connector at the Ballast left is Dark Blue and white the other three wires are one Black going to Chassis ground, the other two go to the light bulb and does not show the color. Right coming from the module is Dark Green and Orange the the same as the left with the other three wires. So if you are looking for your signal it will be the two colors I have mentioned in Left and Right.
