Wiper Blades

What's up with these wiper blades, ever autoparts i look up it states 22 inch blade and if thats the case it would be practically wiping the moon roof at the same time.
My question is which size blade are you using???

Its been about a year since I bought a set but it sounds correct to me.

I use 20's. I want to get an 18 inch for the passenger side because it kinda sticks off of the car in a 20. I will keep the 20'' for the drivers side though.

I am running 22's as it calls for and I run the RainX brand, best wiper out there IMHO. $24.00 a pc, butwell worth it, and the 22's work just fine.

I got 22's, and they fit just fine. Or did I go bigger? I cannot remember I always go one or two sizes bigger then the manufacturer calls for.

im crazy i use 24's driver side and 22's on passenger side works great for me!!! cost me $3 bucks ea. replace them monthly for best results

Wow really how come mines tends to hit eachother on the ends on the way down but not fully and on the way up it tends to be touching the windsheild molding from the top. idk i guess ill buy smaller ones next time

Did someone replace your wiper arms before that you know of? That would be the only explanation as to blades contacting each other. You may have a improper wiper arm, and 22's are the required size from the manufacture.

Well they all look alike in design and what not. I would assume you have a non stock Mark VIII wiper arm.

are the markviii arms the same right to left or are they different? i ran into a problem like this once where someone had the arms off and put the wrong one on the wrong side

Well they all look alike in design and what not. I would assume you have a non stock Mark VIII wiper arm.

I hear you R.A., can you or anyone show me a close-up pic of the wiper arm you have on the car maybe it would give me a better idea what it should look like and i went outside to measure.
Its 21 1/2 inches top to bottom. thx

I measured it again and the wiper arm on the driver side is 21 1/2 inches and the pass is 22 inches

Well I just measured my wiper arms from tip to tip, and they are different length's.

D/S is 22"
P/S is 21.75"

I measured 3 times to be sure and they all 3 came out to be the same measurement.
