Does anyone have any tricks to removing the wiper arms? I really don't wanna buy the rotunda tool that the book lists is needed. They are not going back on if that makes a difference.

Lift arm up to move the retainer out then lift up more and pull it off

if it doesnt come off relatively easy, the retainer hasnt disengaged all the way.

I figured it out. I was talking about the arm assembly not the blades. Thanks. I have not messed with it. I read the shop manual and thought there has to be a way with out the tool. Just broke the plastic key out of the keyway.

I made another key out of some hard plastic from the lid of a plastic 55 gallon drum. Hacksaw, file, some patience, and of course a sample from another car made it easier

Or just see if it fell below the plastic tray first
