So I have a couple questions that I hope someone can chime in on

First. As far as winter mats go, I know the rubber OEM mats are no longer available. Has anyone had good success finding anything that is a good direct fit floor liner style? Last year I used some crappy general fit rubber mats and wasn't pleased with their width and the coverage they provided. I know sites like weathertech have complete floor liner style mats but they do not have them for the LS. I'd really like to find something that is a custom fit for our car

Second. I'd also like to get a good rear seat pet cover to keep the pup from tearing up the leather. I've done some research online but many of the ones available account for straps they are to come under the seat to hook on and stop them from moving around. Any dog owners out there who have had good success with anything?

I contacted weathertech about their mats and they said for the LS they would estimate an approximate size. They don't have a direct fit application for us.

Lloyd looks like they have some all weather mats...That might be an option if any sites carry them

I use some universal Michelins in mine. They fit good IMO. I'll take a pic of the fit.

bullschmidt - go to that link I posted, and click on Rubbertite mats. Those are the lloyd's ones.

I have the Lloyd rubber mats. They fit greats and after 5years still look pretty good.

i have a blanket i use for my dogs, i just fold the seat down tuck it in the back and put em up then tuck it in down around the bottom of the seat, works just fine.

I went ahead and ordered a set of the rubber lloyds mats from CarID. Two front mats for $45 shipped. Thanks for the suggestion Pete!

2002.....I had tried using a blanket like that but the she kept finding ways to pull it out so I just gave up. She is a pretty big girl (Rottweiler/Doberman mix)

I have Lloyd and they are great. Had them for over a year and they dont show any wear. The fit is perfect and the rear cargo/trunk mat is trick and also keeps road noise down. I use them year round because they are not ugly like many winter mats combined with the fact I have the tan interior and the stock mats get dirty way to easy.

I have been using these 4 piece floor mats made by RubberQueen. I just replace them once a year. They do hold up pretty well though, considering they are $20 for the whole set. Never liked the all rubber look.

Its cool. I don't mind seeing a picture of your perfectly clean interior! I wish my light parchment looked like that
