I had it in the shop last week for belt tensioner replacement & they disconnected the battery. Of course, this required me to reset the parking brake when I picked it up on Friday. Saturday early am, it is pouring rain & someone rings our doorbell to ask if the car with all the windows & sunroof open is mine! Luckily it doesn't seem they were open all that long - it was a mess but there was no standing water inside.
Thru reading other postings here, I did read in my manual that it is possible to unlock all doors & open all windows by holding down the unlock on the remote - not sure I previously knew that. And I suppose it is possible that I accidentally leaned against the remote in my pants pocket at some point on Friday night opening all doors & windows.
Outside that, has anyone ever had a similar experience? Does disconnecting the battery ever do such a thing?
Thanks,
Andy
