windows go down on thier own

i have a 2000 lincoln ls with windows and moon roof that open on thier own. this has happened twice during thunder storms and once not during a thunderstorm. the door latches have been replaced three times. any suggestions

Hey Terry welcom to LvC. I think some recently had the same problem with their 04. I will see if I can find the thread. heck it might be on another forum.

hey terry it is on another forum and here is the link. I participate on both forums and encourage you to take advantage of both even though there is a mixing of the same folks but you will find that each has its own attributes.

You might try taking the batteries out of your remotes to rule those out.

My wife likes to put her remote at the bottom of her purse where the buttons are constantly being pressed.
