i have already searched everything and i'm pretty sure i need a new regulator, but until i get that i need ideas on how to keep the window up. The service manual says to use tape but i have tinted windows and don't know if thats a good idea, and i also read about the screw driver but i'm not sure how that will work. If anybody else has any ideas please let me know cause i already have the door trim off and everything else done and i'm hearing thunder in the distance.

Its so nice to see im not the only one with a busted window!

I have my window help up with a piece of cardboard. I have it wedged into the weatherstripping on the door frame.

I have tinted windows too, so far no damage.

i used a wood chisel

A clean wood chisel, slipped down next to the glass holds it firmly while you install the new regulator.

i ended up using some stiff cardboard rolls and put them under the window in the door since the panel is already off...its been working so far but i'm still waiting for the window to just drop and shatter
