Will Tbird JBL amp interchange?

I need a new factory amp for my '98 and I have a friend who has a '96 Tbird and he said I could have his JBL amp. Will it work? Anyone know if the part numbers are the same?

what year T-turd? Also itd be simpler to just chuck in another amp and drop the wires from the factory harness down and wire her up.... oh well maybe not... still got power and grounds lol

I'm gonna do that, just thought I'd ask. Thanks. Cant really afford to put aftermarket stuff in right now, and it is free. The whole left channel went out in my '98.

Had a look in Ford Service Manual - No, this will not work!
Tbird has a full-range speakers, and no tweeters at all, so the amp can't drive them.
