Will parts from ´85 Thunderbird fit Mark VIII?

As I not know these cars well enough yet, I need to ask you experts:
Will parts from 1985 Thunderbird fit to my Mark VIII LSC 1995?
(Like the suspension, transmission, diff, wheels (rims) etc?)

One of the car is a Turbo but with no engine...

Ummm...wow...no. '85 T-Bird is a Fox platform, all Mark VIII's are FN10 platform (which is a slightly modified version of the '89-'97 T-Bird/Cougar MN12 platform). Not one single part will interchange. The suspensions are totally different. Fox cars have struts up front while FN10/MN12 cars have upper and lower control arms. Fox cars have a 4-link solid axle in the rear while FN10/MN12 cars have a fully independent rear suspension. The Fox T-bird had 4-lug wheels while FN10/MN12 cars have 5-lugs. The Fox T-Bird's wheelbase was 104" (IIRC) while the FN10/MN12 Mark VIII/T-Bird/Cougar had a 113" wheelbase. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The Fox and FN10/MN12 are totally different animals. Now if you had a Mark VII, some parts would interchange since the VII was based upon the T-Bird's Fox platform. Anyway, that was probably more info than anyone needs. But I just felt like chiming in. Have a nice day.:)

If it has good. Gears and track-loc you can take those
You could also use the floor mats with little modification

85 T-Bird is a 7.5 rear, none of those components will work.

Mine had an 8.8
Maybe the previous owner put it in
but you are right sir my cougar had a 7.5 and the
Turbo coupe wasn't 8.8 till 86

I loved my 85 Thunderbird TC. It was a very fun quick car. It was black with red gut. I had a 88TC also that one was white with red gut.

Turbo T-Birds are great. I've had two, and '87 and an '88. Both were 5-speeds and fully loaded. The '88 was black w/black&grey interior and the '87 was grey with the same interior. I loved the adjustable firm/auto suspension and the rush of the turbo. They were fantastic cars! I want another one real bad!

Ok guys, thanks!
I am considering a swap in the rear diff, and I would like to go for a appr. 3,7 or 3,9:1 diff, locked.
Where can I find one?
Can I use a diff from another car type?
What do you recommend, what gives the best experience?

Mark differentials are 28 spline. That's all you can use.

well 3.73s or 3.90s aren't too hard to get a hold of. new gears is usually a good idea. although many have had good luck with used gears.
you will need a 28 spline diff. most likely from an explorer or mn12 car. (appropriate year t-bird or cougar) gears and center sections from a solid axle 8.8 do work. i have one in my car.
you can get gears and trac lok from an explorer all in one go sometimes. but idk how easy it would be to find in iceland.
