I keep trying to order a set of wheels for my car and everytime/place i go to they are backordered, out of stock, or dont have the matching tires i want for the combo but i found a place (actually are advertised on this page)

american muscle offers the saleen wheels i want and has them in stock...

but before i order them i'd like to make sure they will fit, the mark is 36mm offset or so and the ones from american muscle are like this

94-12 (30mm) offset 18x9 and using a 255 or 245/45 18 up front

05+ (45mm) 18x10 out back using a 275/40 (7" backspacing)

i will be running brand new shocks in the rear

thanks in advance

Check this place out I had the 2005 & up 20 by 10 bullitt wheels and they worked out perfect with a 275 tire.
20 by 8.5 front 35mm offset
20 by 10 rear 45 mm offset

The front was very close to the upper control arm but still cleared it.
I probably could have went up to a 295 wide tire in the rear with no rubbing with bilstien shocks.

Mine are 18x10's, and are +40mm offset. With my 285's, I did have to roll the fenders, but with a 45mm offset and 275's, you'll have a little bit more room to work with...

For what it's worth, 285's look PERFECT on my wheels. Any skinnier and I think they might look funny (to me, anyway). I absolutely hate the "stretched" look, that some people (mostly ricers) actually do on purpose...

My tires are 255/45/18's on the front and 285/40/18's on the rear, and they're almost exactly the same overall height as the stock tires, and they're almost exact in comparison to each other, so there's absolutely no problems with traction control or speedometer...

Oh and mine are 18x9.5 at 40 and the need to be farther out I think and I am running 285's as well. Not sure that helps

Maybe huh? 'shurgs'
If I was buying new
I would buy the percy tool and measure it.

Or trust known good sources.

clicky

Thats a good tool, I'd be interested in something like that if i were buying wheels regularly but this will be the first new set ever purchased for my 97...so i cant justify needing one.

Thanks for the link, looks like 45mm will put me right where i want, i can probably even run a 285 tire but might stay with the 275 to be safe, dont want to risk my car being stuck up on my friends lift.

that looks so killer, i love it. Eventually i'd like to get a set of 20's for cruising...they look so killer, but the 18's will have to do for now while its a daily driver that i take to the track.

Sweet information. Im really glad you posted in here.

You are right a 285 would look better and would probably even fit with the 45 offset. I'll see whats available when i purchase my wheels and tires. Sometimes companys offer 275 in a package so i might just grab that..since its almost identical to stock and run a 245 or 255 up front.

thanks again, been a great help

Do they stick in to much? A little more information please. any pictures?

The fronts gonna be a +30mm (universal for 94-09 mustangs) and the rear is gonna be 10" with a 45 mm offset so i think that might just be ok.
