Please enlighten us, using specifics when possible, and statistics when necessary, to back up your statement that "most, if not all of this mess stems from greedy ass republicans."

The president had 6 years of republicans in congress before the lastyear and a half with democrats.
It must, the republicans always want to redistribute the people's tax dollars to the rich and big business. Both sides want to redistribute, its just who they want to give money to that differs.

Also- the Republicans (who were a failure, I'll add) did NOT have six years of control. They had 4 years of control. In 2000, there was a 50/50 split and the Republicans, in the name of bipartisanship, divided the power and leadership positions with the Democrats.
Even with that 50/50 split, the Democrats blocked virtually every Republican agenda item using parlimentary rules that had before never been applied in such a way.
If the Republicans really had control for six full years, why couldn't Bush get his judges and political appointments confirmed during this period? Why was John Bolton only a recess appointment?

As for the Clinton Economy- so what you're saying is you want 8 years of tax cuts under Reagan that stimulate investment in technology and then 5 years of Republican fiscal policy helping to reduce the size of government.
