Why do people call the LS gaskets valve cover gaskets?

They are really not valve cover gaskets, right? Aren't they really COP cover gaskets?
 
Why do you post stupid LS specific questions in the Welcome Wagon thread?


We people call the Valve cover gaskets what they are,
the gaskets that seal down the Valve covers.

#14 = Valve cover gaskets & Plug well O-rings


We people call the Ignition Coil-on-Plug covers what they are,
the cover that has it's own embedded gasket that seals down the Coil cover to the Valve cover.
