Hey All,
Looking through Ebay and came across a listing

Now... Who's LS is that in the picture? :rolleyes: And does the person listing that item have the owner's permission? :shifty: I just thought I would point that out
 
He had the Umnitza Predator kit on that car I believe. The ebay kit isn't the same. At least I don't think so. With the difference in price, I can't see how they would be the same.
 
The kits are not the same, I have the kit from fishcake. It does not fill the headlights as well as the umnitza. Although it still looks really good, at least I think so.

That seller stole that picture from my customer car gallery on my website. It is an old picture of my LS. That was the first generation Umnitza angel eye rings that were in that car. They were great! The new rings are even better! The rings that seller is selling are NOT the Umnitza rings so be careful if you buy those.

And, no! He did not ask permission for that picture. I have complained to eBay numerous times and they said they can't do anything with the picture. Figures!
 
yea Ken... I feel for ya buddy. I knew it was your old car and I obviously knew he was selling an inferior product so I wanted to make it known. Let it be known!
 
Thanks for the update! It is appreciated! I just don't want someone to think that the auction is mine. Misrepresentation runs rampant on eBay.
 
You should watermark your pictures on your site, Ken. direct link where to buy the real kit.
 
we can do some damage by posting questions about those not being the real thing.... I hate when people feed off someone Else's success. Sorry to see that Ken.
 
I never understood why people post pictures over something like the INTERNET and then cry about someone using them when they should have them copyrighted or water marked.
 
It's one thing to use some picture than to advertise on it for something that is not. Plus, Ken did no cry about it, some else did. And get those ugly yellow lights out of that car. It's not a jeep!
 
First off I never said anything a bout Ken second your paint job sucks among many others tuff guy.

Third I'm by far the only LS owner to use high visibility fog lights idiot. You only wish your LS could look as good as mine.

Fourth those cheap ebay wheels do no compliments for a Luxury car.

Next time you take something off topic and bash on someones taste make sure you have something of your own to be proud of.


Oh and more on the subject of the halo's, those things do really suck and are nothing like the ones on the car pictured. I had once before stated that to another member.

So there is no such thing as any Luxury vehicles at all what so ever coming standard with these style lights?

Funny, I see almost all the newer and some older Luxury cars with them straight from the factory.

The original poster does have a valid concern. It's not lawful to use somebody's else's photos to sell your items. Whether they are watermarked or not the person who took the picture holds the copyright. It's more than easily possible that GreyGhost doesnt surf eBay everyday to look for potential infringements of his copyright. He's fortunate enough to have somebody else notice it and alert him to it.

This happens to companies all the time. eBay has a department called VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) who are able to handle these types of claims.

Yellow lights are what foglights are supposed to be besides. Yellow doesnt reflect off fog in the air like white does. White foglights are purely for looks.
