Who is running DDM Tuning H11 bulbs?

I have the 4500k from DDM and it matches the OEM HIDs perfectly. The driver side fog is 4500k and the passenger side is probably 6000k or whatever hell they sent me with my first order.....they were supposed to be 4500k, but as you can see in the picture, they are not.

I don't have a Facebook, what did they say? Their website said they would begin shipping the slim kits 3/1/11.
 
They were talking about how China won't release the shipments and it will take some extra time.. There is people from February 15th that still haven't got theirs.. But Idk about the slim kits
 
I ordered a set for the Navigator's fogs on February 23rd and they finally shipped it out yesterday. I should have it by Saturday. So, it will probably be a while before you guys get yours.
 
Wow two weeks to finaly get around to shipping them? That sucks... At least they are shipped though.

Did you get the slims? Let me know when you get them if they are missing the adapter piece.

I don't know how they are still in business, cause the way they conduct it, drives bunch of unhappy customers their way.

Yes, I did get the slim kit and will definitely keep you in the loop once i receive them. The fogs on the truck are also H11s. Most likely same housing the LSE/06 LS's came with.
 
Idk if you check your e-mail, but I got one today saying that it could take 2-3 weeks before ours get shipped if you have the standard shipping.. If you got anything faster, 1 week
 
Got the same email dude! I am beginning to think they don't even order sets until someone pays for them. Thats why there is always a delay with shipping.

So it sounds like they try to order more than they need but can't keep up with the demand..

I never got that email from them. Would have been nice, if they notified me about the issue. I guess it doesn't matter now, since i should have the package by tomorrow.

About time i get them....i don't like waiting.
The only thing i worried about is their longetivity. When you hit the unlock botton on the remote, the foglights turn on (at night), along with the markers And, once you start the engine, they go back out. We will see how long the bulbs last from being turned on and off instantly.

Do you leave your fogs on all the time on your LS? My fogs don't come on when I unlock my car.

Or are talking about your Navigator?

Yeah I was talking about the Navigator....I should have been more clear. I wish the LS had that option.

On another note, I will update you tomorrow on the steering shaft issue.
Long story short, the parts got lost, and Ford had to reorder another one. They received the shipment today and will be replacing the shaft tomorrow.
 
LL, I finally got the Hid kit (H11s) for the truck. The installation went pretty easy, since they came with those connectors. I didn't have to waste time cutting up the factory bulbs and epoxing them in.
As far as the bulbs go, they fit into the housing without any issues. I know some the guys on here, had to cut the tabs on the bulbs shorter to make them fit.
 
Sweet! Maybe I will luck out and get my H11's with connctors too! I forget if I asked you or not, did you get the slim kit?

Also how is the steering holding up on the LS? I priced that part # you gave me and it is relatively cheap enough I could go ahead and throw a new one of those in just in case ($137.00 from Tasca)...

Long term: We are not bringing a lot more kits into the USA due to customs issues. We are putting together about 300,000 kits in CHina to ship from fulfillment centers where labor is cheaper by far, readily available, I don't have to deal with a warehouse that is too full to take another person and there is almost no parts leadtime. Interestingly, the shipping from CHina costs just almost exactly the same as shipping inside the USA. Except it will get out much faster. Its probably going to mean the death of overnight or 2-3 day shipping methods though. There's a limit to whats possible from 6700 miles away.

So, from the sounds of it, after we get our kits they are going to start drop-shipping?
 
Probably gonna order my sets this week. I'm growing weary of checking Ebay and Craigslist every day for OEM HID assemblies.
