You guys are confusing the Pioneer models. I am talking about the D1...not the N2. (i think that's the models!) The D1 has the exact same double din full screen just like the Kenwood.

You will find it has two slots behind the screen...one for CD's just like the Kenwood, and another for the NAV DVD. It's a very clean installation and all the reports I've read rate the NAV system and DVD very high! The only two reasons I would shy away from the Kenwood is the price with NAV, and you have to find a spot to mount and wire the additional DVD drive. But your right...if I wasn't interested in NAV, I would be all over the Kenwood. It's a very nice unit.

By the way, the street price on the Pioneer is under a grand.

You're right. I was confusing the models. That is a very nice unit. Still though Ive seen the Kenwood with Nav for about the same price. Guess its a toss up.

Wow! Really? I can't find the Kenwood with NAV anywhere near that price. I've looked online and everywhere. It's not hard to find the Pioneer just under a grand and I've seen them as low as $850...but the seller was suspect. I think the cheapest I have ever seen the Kenwood combo is almost $1500. Then, you still have to mount and wire the DVD drive. I really like the Kenwood screen, but it's hard to beat all you get with the Pioneer for the price.
