While braking it sounds like rubbing against rubber.

when i press the brake pedal all is normal but as I lift off it sounds like it's rubbing on something ruberish. braking is still the same it's just an annoying sound. anyone have the same problem? or now of a solution.? calling the dealer tommorow. glad I got the extended warranty, car is out of warranty by 1K miles and 1 month.

sound like it's comingi from the wheel area? I have that sound. Thinking it's a dry caliper guide pin

I get that in mine but mine sounds like it is coming from where my feet are. I thought it was from the brake arm rubbing on a rubber gasket in the firewall and not anything mechanical.
