Look at the tag on the transmission, although it doesn't really matter so long as the trans you buy has the short tail-shaft extension housing & VSS output. (VSS output was removed from 4R70W's sometime in model year 2003)
You will need to swap the shift linkage from the old trans to the new if you buy a transmission pulled out of something besides a Mark.
