Both my rear sway bar links and the toe links need to be replaced (06 LS, 56K miles). I've got the sway bar links from rockauto, but it seems I can't find the toe links(lateral link) from anywhere except dealers. Any PPL know where to get it cheaper? The deal want more than 200 for the pair.

And is it me or ford, I also need to have my 2005 Freestyle AWD Limited's front sway bar links replaced. Ford is using so crappy parts on their cars now.

They are pricey and hard to find. Just before Christmas I banged a curb spinning in a light snow storm. It took a week and a half for my mechanic to locate and receive one to replace the one I bent.

Why? Did something break? I have almost 70K miles on one of my 06s and just over 50k on the other. I did have to do the front stabilizer bar links on the front of the later LS.

As the LS has passive 4-wheel steering (the rear toe link has a collapsible bushing) I would stick with the dealer for that one. That is until someone can manufacture a better one.

I took a pic of the part, it is shot. and same for the bar link, and both on the other side too.

I found some in a junk yard that were not deteriorated. They are hard to locate.
