LVC,

I keep hearing my car beep everytime I go across a small bump or crack in the road. It always reads trunk open. How can i fix this issue.

***Bonus*** Where is a good place to find the plastic fastners for under the hood and other places on the lincoln LS? I had no luck at advance auto, or auto zone.

Driver's side, trunk lid lip, pointed down, plunger switch.

Bonus: Five Star Ford (Maxx), Lowes, Home Depot, True Value.

i just jammed a piece of a copper staple in there to keep it closed. that shut it right up. ;)

BONUS ANSWER I bought a bunch of the fastners on rockauto.com.

Guess trunk pull down motor is maybe blown. Buy a new motor, hardly it takes 5-10 minutes to change. Make sure you get the right one..

Again, your comments don't help at all. No version or year of the Lincoln LS has a trunk pulldown.

No "pull down motor" on the Lincoln LS, unless your talking about your broken arm.

I just read this guy's other posts. It must be another member just screwing around.
