Where do you guys buy your brakes online?

I wouldnt say Motorcraft pads are garbage. They work just fine for everyday driving. But some of us just demand a bit more of the braking systems on our cars than what the OEM pads can stand up to.

Wearever pads are garbage. Motorcraft is about average.

Want to clean my chrome rims next time they are due for a wash?

Thanks Motorcraft for the dust and squeeks!

Okay, Motorcraft pads are a NO! And it would seem that OEM pads are a no all around. I know where I can buy the EBC pads but does anybody have a link for some Axxis pads. And as for combination of pads and rotors what a good set up as far a stopping and not a whole lot of noise. I don’t really care about brake dust as long as the life of the pad is good.

I swear by Bosch pads. I will never use anything else. No squealing and 0 dust.

What rotor combination do you use with that? Also I forget off hand does the LS use Ceramic or are the premium pads listed at boschautoparts.com okay?
Oh yeah, hows the noise and stopping???

I have the drilled/slotted rotors from R1 Concepts. No complaints and Ive had them over a year now.

I run the ceramic pads. Stopping is great and 0 noise.

I don't think they make Bosch pads for 2003 LS' and up. I've looked with no luck. Where do you buy yours? I'd love to give them a try if I could find some....

Question: I went to the boschautoparts.com to find a retailer and I noticed they don’t have any rear pads listed. What do you use for the rears?

I’m leaning towards the R1 Concepts rotors now. I wasn’t planning on getting the drilled/slotted rotor look for my car but if they work well and I get good brake life out of them, why not! :D

I love my R1 Rotors.

My car has low mileage, I have not changed the rears yet. They are stock pads.

: R1 Concepts front and rear rotors with bosch ceramic pads in the front and axis ceramic pads in the rear. From what I gathered on the reply’s this should be a good set up for stopping and minimal noise. Thank you guys for your input and your help on my questions.
I’ll try this set up in the hopes it works out. Any other input on this is well come as well. I’m planning on purchasing the parts here in a couple of weeks or so.

i wen't out to Aneheim to pick them up from R1 concepts themselves. they do offer the pads for 100 bucks extra i believe
