wheel find

mlara did they give you any estimate on the shipping? offset?

hes calling me tomorrow, with a shipping quote to North Jersey. And i forgot to ask the offset but quoting one of their other ads(they have several for the same wheels)

"Modular wheel; 019 Carlsson Style / 19x8.5 front & 19x9.5 rear / Color availables; Silver,Black ,White / Bolt pattern 5x108 / Offfset ET+40 front & +45 rear"

ive actually been meaning to find out if that offset would be good for our cars. He told me he sold a set of 20" version to an LS owner a while back, but i dont know if that LS was lowered or not

What offset can be debated depending on what you're looking for. Almost everyone here will say 42+ is best when lowered

Even 20's will fit on a lowered LS if you want to play with your fenders and run smaller tires

For a 19x8.5, I wouldn't consider anything less than 42mm up front. Pete's posted several times on his experience with rubbing with his Fondmetals. I believe had had to go to a lower profile tire in the front to compensate. Granted, he's lowered a little bit more than the Eibach group, but I thought his issues were more with rubbing on the inner part of the fender well.

I posted a wheel in a different thread that I'm going to pull the trigger on if one of my guitars ends up selling (previous wheel mad money went bye-bye to replace our hot water heater a few weeks ago). It's a 19x8.5 with a 48mm offset. I might be crazy in trying to run a 255/35/19 tire with them, but I think I'll be ok (normal would be a 245/35/19).
