buying some 5x108 to 5x4.5/114/3 adaptors tonight. they are 1.25" thick.

wheels i want to go with are 17' with a 24mm offset. also found 29 mm offset.

will these fit?

you would actually have a negative offset with the adapters included. neg 6 or 7 would stick out "dam near" 2 inches or a lil more einstein:)

To use spacers like that you would need a 60+ offset. Maybe even 60 offset would not work. I'm not an expert, but I think it was Hyelife who bought spacers for his jag wheels so they would sit more flush with the fender. Those had a 60 offset, but I can't remember the thickness of the spacers.

17x9? I thought you would be doing like a 17x7.5 or something. With that low of a offset, that thick of a spacer, and that wide of a wheel its not a good idea.

I do know what you mean though, I have no clue why people feel the need to over exaggerate the difference between mm and inch.

Stock is 7.5 wide and 60mm offset. With that width and offset the new wheel will stick out 50mm, or 1.96850 inches. Add the 1.25" of the spacer and the new wheels will stick out just over 3 inches further than stock. IMHO, that will look very ricer.

Ricers don't even do that. Thats that Low Rider style!

my spacers are 20mm, so the offset of 60 on the wheel give me a 40mm.

Those wheels are going to be out by arount a foot with spacers. Find some other wheels.

hahaha. Yea the wheel selection/offset sucks big fat compton bootey for this car.

depents on the tire size too. with 245/40/18 and 38 offset it wont rub, maybe in the back if lowered with people on higher speed. with 245/45/18 tires it rubs. best to get a 245/40/18 tire and get a drop for perfect look. With 40+ offset it would be ok to go with 245/45/18 tires.

Probably so long as you go with a 7.5" wheel. I had 245/45/18s on an 8" wheel and it rubbed.

235/35 sure dont with a 19x8.5"/+38 ET.

maybe in the back if lowered with people on higher speed.

Correct, it sure will and could only be expected.

Expect lowered cars to rub period in certain circumstances!
