Wheel Bearings

Went to my local muffler & brake shop because I was getting a little grinding/scraping noise in the front end. Besides needing front pads I was told that the source of my scraping was the front passenger side wheel bearings to the tune of $250 for the part & $50 for labor. Does this sound about right? $250 seems a little high for wheel bearings to me.
 
What year LS do you have. because I know that teamford sell the front hub assembly for about 100.00 for a 2000 LS. you can't just get the wheel bearing you have to get the hub assembly. Do a search on here for wheel hub and you should find the post where bill at teamford gives a quote.
