What's wrong with the lights???

So im wondering what happened with my lights. When i would turn off the car, they would remain on for a couple of seconds and then turn off. I got it in october. Ever since yesterday, they turn off right after u turn on the car and they always turn on even during a sunny day. WHy does this happen??

You must have reset the timer somehow. Look at the light switch.

You can set the autolamp delay in the message center. It says how to do it in the owner's manual.

As for the lights always being on... uh... do you have the headlights set to Autolamp or ON?

Really? I thought you can only do it with the switch?

Maybe it varies by year. In GenII I believe you can do it with the switch or in the message center.

I have noticed that in cold weather, my headlights stay on even when it is bright enough out that they shouldn't. Once the car warms up, they go off. Both of my LS's do this to some degree, as did the Grand Marquis I had before.

Maybe a relay has been sticking?
