What's wrong with my stereo?

Great sounding deck. I didnt like the switchover to a joystick for all controlls but thats the world we live in now. You will notice that it will sound fuller and have better bass over the Eclipse deck. Good choice.

I 100% agree about the joystick. I loved my Eclipse having the two knobs for functionality. But I figured I'll get with the times and learn this new way lol.

Thanks for all the help guys! I'm sure I'll be back if I run into problems once the head unit gets here and I go to install it lol.

As for good decks, I prefer Pionner and dont care for Kenwood. Kenwoods menu systems are crap, their LCD screens are about the worst and the nicer display decks burn their screens out all too often.

i got one of each, pio in the mark and the kenwood in the explorer, similar vintage (3 years ago) early kenwood joystick, hate the kenwood, the menus are the worst ive ever seen its a PIA to do anything on it. love pio menus, easy straight forward no BS like the kenwood

agreed joysticks suck, on my kenwood you hit a bump while your trying to do something with it and your jumpin folders all over the place

Pioneer, hands down. I have had Kenwood and Alpine. Alpine doesn't have hardly any controls to adjust the levels. Right now I'm running the DEH-P6000UB and wouldn't trade it. It's going on 3 years old and not one problem yet and the display rocks!!! My 2 cents.
