You have 400k on a Mark VIII? How many engines have you had?

the original engine lasted until 360,000 miles and 4000 dragstrip passes before it lost the secondary cam chain tensioner pad.

It was still running and I had driven and raced it for about 25K with a bad secondary tensioner.

The car would have easily driven to a half a million miles had it not been stolen with 408,000 miles.

the 4.6 is bullet proof as long as you dont beat on it or mod it. ive seen pictures and videos of poeple that have over a million miles on these motors.

I put well over 5000 passes on the 95 I had,
if you do the math on that.. that is well over 1150 miles of WOT.

While I dont consider drag racing "beating" on a car, it was many many miles of foot to the floor WOT.

it's a healthy way to catch up to pep, plus it's not threatening or rediculous statement so very easy-going. Plus the latest threads don't seem to capture much interest for me
