I have a 2000 lincoln ls v8.I am wondering why my motor has 260 horse and the newer ones have 280 horses.Also will an 05 lse grill fit on my 2000?Please reply because im really eager to know.

No! You can not mix match 1st gen and 2nd gen because of the different computer language.
Yes, don't forget the Gen2 is throttle by wire vs. the classic cable in the Gen1.
its more like too much power to handle
But we all know the truth that Gen2 are just pieces of crap anyway. They made them throttle by wire becuase Ford knows Gen2 drivers are to dumb to properly use a gas pedal.![]()

I have, but not in an LS. They weren't that much horsepower, but did have plenty of low end torque to get rolling with. On a good day, you might get 8 MPG.
