What's that little box?

What is the little box under the hood, in front of the strut tower, it has "rally" on it? I assume it is for fog lights? I believe I saw it in other Marks, but am not sure.

Umm....do you HAVE fog lights? No Mark VIII came with fogs...

Hmm, mine is different, sure as hell isn't for suspension diagnostics. I'll have to take a picture of it. It has a relay and two fuses, my little black box...

My guess would be foglights/driving lights too. They didn't come stock, but on the 4 Mark VIII's I've owned (parts cars included), 2 of them have had aftermarket relays/wiring for fogs (but neither of them had foglights- apparently taken off by a previous owner), and in both cases, the relays were mounted near the strut tower (on the driver's side, which makes sense because it's close to the battery). I put foglights on the 93 I had, in no small part because the stock halogen lights sucked, which probably explains why aftermarket foglights are so popular on these cars.
