Just wondering, what would be the benefit of doing the parts you have listed in CF? I could see if the entire body was done in this fashion it would be beneficial but a part here in there is meh in my book.

Long story short, do you have more info.

meh is right.. i think id prefer the color matched look of everything oppose to it being carbon fiber, chrome, or any other finish..

I thought carbon fiber was just the material and is paintable, but why paint it? I don't think it would look right. The weight reduction would be minimal, can lighten up elsewhere by reducing not replacing.

Wait a minute, why are we concerned with weight reduction, these aren't race cars.

ccxr, make me one of those

also what type of carbon fiber is it, who is this supplier?

Also I would want to know pricing and how large of parts this supplier can make.

intake tube, maybe beauty cover..emblems

but i agree with the sentiment of having normal color matched spoilers or bumpers or grilles.

Would want to know more information. If I did anything at all I would want all of the following or nothing at all:

Hood, Grille, and Trunk Lid/Rear Surround.

I've always wondered about a CF roof. Lowered center of gravity is never a bad thing.

but when you roll your car it may be a bad thing, because then the weight is all on the top and now that you have a light roof, you have a very high center of gravity :shifty:

pfft... it'd just flip back over onto it's wheels. LS Weeble.

As long as you put the sunroof into the carbon fiber you would be fine

02 LSE front bumpers. If they were able to make those then atleast they'd be more common than bigfoot sightings and alien abductions.

I think a carbon fiber engine beauty cover and coil covers would look really nice.
