Hello Everyone

I just bought an 04 Ls and I know it's a V6 but how do I know which V6 package it is. It has everything but NAV and there is no message center on the dash. I would also like some information on snow tires. I live in NH and winters get pretty rough. I haven't driven a rear wheel drive car since my 88 olds cutlass supreme. I didn't care about that car but this one I do so any info would be good. I love reading all the posts and seeing what everybody does with there cars.

Welcome,

Well, non of the V6s had message center. You said your LS is full, so I am guessing you got cooled seats and HIDs and the 6 disk player. Some pictures would be helpfull. I guess you have a V6 premium or whatever they called it that year. I think all of the V6s from years 03-05 had 16" wheels stock, some 7 spoke some 11 spoke, some chrome some not. You have a sunroof?

Well, put some pictures up.

I know I need pics already!!

Yeah I have 6 disc changer and cooled seats but what are HID's. Sorry for the stupid question..LOL I do have the 16" Wheels with I believe the seven spoke. The wheels are not chrome just regular grey. Do have the sunroof too!! The tires on there right now are 225/60/16. I would like to upgrade to 19's What would you recommend. I do not have a great tire knowledge like some on here. It is my first really nice car and I want to make it right. I saw some of your vids and love how the rims look like they are going backwards. This is what I want!!! How can you tell before you by them if the rims will look like they would go backwards on your whip... Thanks again I know I am all over the place with this reply....

I was driving in reverse lol... just messing with you man.

HIDs are the xenon lights, the really bright ones, High Indensity Discharge or so. Yea, you can get some nice wheels, 18, 19 or 20s. You can lower the car too and it will look even better.

Aww Man Messing with me huh..I guess I deserve it ...LOL

I guess my lights to me still look kind dim but I might be blind anyways.

So what do you recommend for a tire size for 19's

Two levels of V6: Luxury with black-lacquer trim, 16” 7 spoke painted or polished aluminum wheels and V6 Premium with American walnut burl trim, 16” 11 spoke painted or chrome aluminum wheels are the main differences.

I Did 18 But Its Going To Be Slammed In The Spring

I would go with 255/35/19 and lowered.

If you are going to lower it go with the 18's. If you are going to stay with stock springs then go 19's. Look at my gallery to see 18's lowered. Eibach springs.

I am confused??????

I have a 2000 Lincoln LS and I thought that it was a sport because it says sport on the title and they say that you can only have the options that I have if its a sport. On the other hand I was ordering some bumper lenses the other day and they said the LS's with the chrome on the bumper is the non-sport. Can anyone help me figure this one out? My LS has I think ever option that they offered to a LS in 2000

I have the wood grain dash and silver where the radio console is. So does this mean I have the premium version? Is there anyway I can tell from the manual or by Vin # or something

As stated: 2004 V6, American walnut burl trim = Premium. No the VIN # doesn't give you that info. Instead of asking if it is in the maual try looking yourself you just might learn about the features, care and maintenance of you LS.
