what spark plugs do you recommend?

Yeah well there was a link to the original discussion on LVC but if you try to find the site its been pulled. Apparently the site went through some changes do to legal issues so the original thread will never be again which is a shame cause it was damn right hilarious!!!!!

haha Ill bet it was, I wish I could of seen that, thats almost as funny as a guy I knew up north, he thought it would be a wonderful idea to install a 75 shot dry nitrous system into the #3 intake manifold runner...... remember on the movie aliens when the blood hits the floor and starts melting through steel? ya kidna the same look

That's it. I will prove you guys wrong. I am going to get the DEI, Vortex, Fuel Magnet, Leafblower Turbo, Hydrogen Converter system, and these spark plugs. Oh, and don't forget one of those performance chips from ebay. Then, I'll run straight Ethanol. You guys will be crying when I get 8000hp and 350mpg.

Hydrogen does work for gas milage.... you jsut have to keep messing with it. not worth the trouble!

One more question about these plugs, do they use an electrolytic capacitor or a flux capacitor?

lol 305mpg , Wow Rev, you just cut the Rainjacks HP gain by 45Hp.

Thats not bad for a car running on garbage and old beer.

We don't have to wait that long anymore. Mr. Fission will come out in 2015 :D

thank god!!!!!! I'm ordering these plugs now before everyone and their uncle with a train wants one

Getting back to the purpose of the thread for a moment, how about some testimony as what plugs to avoid? Sounds like there are plenty of happy people with several plug brands but only a couple hearsay comments on ones that are bad. The ones to avoid might be more useful info.

A comment on the info supplied here on the pulstar plugs, your (revolutionaryconcepts) posts are straight forward and you have provided good info including the link to the site. I'll consider them after a little more poking about the net for more info.

I have been a user of the Bosch platinums in many cars over the years and whilst I support the product, there has to be something to the countless bad comments I've heard about 'them' in particular. It's happens too often to be coincidence or just brand haters. I hear nothing but good about their copper plugs and very mixed reviews about the platinums. Just my 2 cents.....

I had trouble with some defective Bosch platinum plugs on a Thunderbird I used to have. I haven't tried them since. There's really nothing to be gained by using anything other that the OEM plug.

True, the only reason for using other than OEM is for a forced induction application where you need a step colder, etc.

If your OEM plugs worked fine for you before then why change? To spend $200 and gain 10hp? (which I call BS on but besides the point.)

I've used NGK and Bosch with no problems. Both are top quality companies.

Resurrected an old thread to get a question answered.

I have a question as to what the OEM plugs are? Iridium or Platinum? I've been looking around for plugs and I'm seeing both Iridium and Platinum listed for the LS V8 on websites...
I've been looking for NGK plugs and they come in both as well as Denso plugs.

Any help would be great.

I think they are platinum I could be wrong.. I seen a lot of ebay plugs a while back not sure if they are still there.

I've read a lot of threats and posts about platinum plugs and the owners having some problems with them on the LS...
But that may just be a case of plug type and brand no?

They are plat. I have e3 in my car and seem to have picked up 2-3 mpg and noticeable amount of power (not enough to knock your socks off but feel the punch a little more)..
