i am looking into getting a cobra brake set up off of a 96 cobra. 2 questions

what should i pay?
and
what all do i need off the car? probably staying 5x4.25 i have 5 sets of wheels now.

For complete setup I wouldn't pay more than $350. Plan on rebuilding the calipers and re-powdercoating the calipers and brackets too. MAKE SURE TO GET BOTH THE FRONT HUBS!!! even if you do not use them, someone will want them, and will pay a decent amount for them if they are in good shape.

You will need:
front calipers and brakets
front pads and rotors
rear rotors

You will need to get the rotors redrilled to accept the mark viii bolt pattern. I would suggest finding a machine shop that will do this BEFORE you buy because most shops do not want the liability.

You will need to either buy or make the relocation brackets for the rear caliper, which you will be reusing your stock caliper and bracket. the brackets are to accept the larger diameter rotor.

You do not need the calipers or brackets from the rear.

+1

what do you need for brakes.

calipers, caliper brackets, rotors, pads, brake lines if you want, and the associated hardware.
they're the 13 inch PBRs right?
those have the pins and e clips and the little springs or anti rattle clips or whatever on the pads.

you will have to machine, grind, drill, whatever the rotors to fit the mark bolt pattern but its easy.

shosource.com sells the redrilled front rotors. 150 a set. prolly cheaper to have it done yourself, but it is an option.
350 is a good price. i'm in for more like 400 myself with new rotors and pads. i bought calipers and brackets used.

thank you that is exactly what i needed to know

my buddy matt drilled all 4 of my cobra rotors to the mark pattern for me for 50 bucks. he has a really badass bridgeport took him about an hour to drill 20 holes after he got them all marked and set up. they were dead on true they had no egg or wobble to them at all when installed well worth the 50 bucks!!
