Hey I got those Posiquiet ceramic pads, I just need to put them on one of these days. I've heard good things about them on this forum. No idea on the rotors.

i have the posi-quiet, and i stand by them. my rotors are from a company called R1 rotors out in anaheim. great combo, good price

Not sure the luck you'll have with stock size rotors cross drilled and/or slotted. They notoriously have a decreased life expectancy in stock size. The Ford Focus SVT has the same size rotors the LS does.........

Anyway, if you want to ensure you're not losing capacity to absorb heat do a kit. I did 14's in the front with 6 piston calipers and 13's in the rear with a parking brake caliper to retain the functionality of the rear parking brake. This set up does not get hot and no amount of smack talking by the anti cross drilled crowd will make this a bad set up. I've had it over a year and no cracks, no heat issues and powerful repetitive braking from high speeds doesn't show any fade or decrease in brake effectiveness.

Give Todd a shout at TCEperformanceproducts.com as I'm pretty sure he has the adapters for the LS available for the Wilwood upgrade.

Big problem there... You're not using cross drilled factory replacement rotors. It's a huge quality difference when compared to the junk cross-drilled rotors most of these guys are throwing on their cars.

I'm not a huge fan of cross drilled just due to loss of surface area, but that doesn't mean they aren't effective for the purpose intended... stopping your vehicle.

I personally am running cryo treated powerslot rotors front and rear w/ EBC red pads and stoptech lines. The rotors are great, and seem rather durable (first cryo set, but third vehicle for powerslot rotors). Pads... not too bad; I've got a squeal that developed, got it to go away on all corners except the drivers front... that one is being stubborn. Next time I'll be running Porterfield.

On a side note, I threw the ceramic pads that autozone carries on my truck (had no time to order the high end parts, plus I'm debating a big brake upgrade)... I'm actually rather impressed. I put on factory replacement rotors, had to replace both calipers (one my own fault, one a cracked piston)... previously had powerslot rotors on with hawk superduty pads... those pads were noisy as hell, dusted VERY quickly and were just absolutely brutal to the rotors. Yet the hawk standard pads seem to be very gentle on the powerslot rotors on my father's truck. Either way, I've found better pads out there than hawk and I doubt I'll be ever returning to those. Long story short... the autozone ceramics actually seem to be decent pads if you're lookin for a good price!!!

Motorcraft pads are terrible. EBC makes a nice pad.
