"About the misfire. I just bought a 2000 lincoln ls for 6000 bucks because of that "misfire." My lincoln mechanic is awesome and new exactly what to do. Wish I would have known him before I had all the coils, spark plug's, etc...replaced. It't a jet pump that you need. NOT the fuel pump. Lincoln ls's also have a jet pump. After spending almost 2000 on fixing the mis at around 4000 RPM's, (none of which successful) I spent 150 on the jet pump. The car purs like a kitten. No problems what so ever."

congrats...but if that was the case, the car should have ran fine with more than half a tank of gas.......the jet pump just pumps gas from one hump of the tank to the other.....strange....
