What does an average rear-end rebuild/install cost?

Just to give an update on this.

I went and pulled a pumpkin from the U Pull and Pay yesterday, so I now have one to be built into. Unfortunately, I decided to get my wife another car (which I'm actively looking for) so I don't think I can swing buying the rebuild kit, conversion kit etc right now. I was really hoping to, at the very least, get this thing built and put it away until next year when I could pay someone to install it. Looks like it's on hold for a bit.

Hopefully I can get everything I need in a timely manner and you can still build it for me. I'm pushing way outside the original projected time frame. Anyway, just wanted to stop in and let you know what was going on.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was really really looking forward to having it built this year, it just didn't work out. Unless I end up spending less on a car for my wife then I plan, then I might be able to. I doubt it though.
