What do you all think? Photoshop exhaust tips

Hello All!

I got a lil' bored at work and photoshopped something I've always been wondering about. I love the way the Lexus 460 exhaust tips look. I figured... perhaps they'd go with an LS. I know styling-wise, it would look sharp on a clean LS. As for feasibility, I know it would mean taking a cutting tool to the bumper. Also, I'm wondering if the angles would more or less match since the Lexus tips slope downward. What do you all think of the look at the very least?

Anyone have a shot of their rear bumper? Preferrably a stock one so I can photoshop it on there.

Here's a pic i took right after I bought mine. Since all the exhaust is on hangars, wouldn't that rattle against the bumper? I thought it was all supposed to hang freely to prevent vibration.

Sweet! Dang, I'm starting to think they probably won't work too well on a stocker. How did you cut your bumper? Which tool?

I used a cutting wheel on a dremel for the lower black valance. I used a jigsaw on the actual bumper. Of course, I put blue masking tape over where I was going to cut, and drew it first on the masking tape. I did touch up with a sanding wheel on the dremel, and finally with a set of files.

That does look good. Kinda to concept art like for me but it still looks good. I always wondered about a DTM bent style tip/muffler on the LS sitting flush with a nice drop ( very low ) and cut into the bumper like pektel's.

I would do those in a heartbeat...looks absolutely fabulous!
Having said that, the angle, -both directions- would have to be dead on, or it wont look good. It wont look designed, but rather forced, and that could be something to think about.
Now, if they were cast aluminum, the angles/curves could be modified, touched up, and polished...
Its one of the best ideas I have seen!

I'll try to take several profile pics of a lexus 460 and my lincoln to see if they'd go. On the pic I provided, it looks good cuz it's got the wings west body kit. Hopefully the angles work.

I'd like to see it photoshopped into a normal LS with out a body kit... they look amazing on the WW kit

gcwimmer: good catch! I actually mirrored the pic of the WW lincoln ls. For some reason, I didn't like the way it looked the other way.

I love the IS-F tips but think it would look dumb on the LS. These are sweet though too.
