what could an ls redesign look like in 03

I was wondering if any of you ever wondered what another 03 redesign looked like if another ever existed. I was just wondering if lincoln had a couple of redesign sketches, clay models or test mules out there prior to the 03 redesign. I am just wondering because they did a very soft redesign and i know it was because they were scared to completely change it, but they didn't even change the interior all that much. I wonder if there are some insiders working on the ls team out there who know of a possible radical redesign for 03. Maybe it would of gave the ls more life and sales and we wouldn't be seeing the death of it. I know some of you are going to say that the mks is the replacement, but the mks had to be on the drawing board for a number of years and the ls wasn't decided to be killed off then. I think this will cause some great debate, so lets bring on some good discussions.

The '03 wa to be a radical redesign. Look at Ford's history. They (with the exception of the '96 Taurus) don't go for radical. The '08 was going to be the last LS until the date was moved up due to lackluster sales.

that was an awesome site. the first picture of the ls looks zephyr/mks inspired so maybe they took that design language and put it into the mks instead of a redesign of the ls. the second ls picture doesn't look all that different. Maybe the headlights and grill but from there back its the 00-06 ls no change. the interior shots would of been great to see
