What colors to paint my new engine

Looking for input on a color combo for my new engine it looks really bad right now. The car is silver with a grey interior.

I hear flouresent orange and green is pretty fast

Or just Clear coat it

Since your car is silver i'd clean it up real good and leave it be, maybe paint the valve covers.

I am beginning to think just doing the covers and coolant cross over to give it a little flash would be better. Block is pretty corroded so nothing short of a full tear down will clean it enough to paint. On the other hand if i do the covers and crossover tube really nice it will make the rest of the block look dingy.

Gloss Black Block, Natural Aluminum heads, Wrinkle Black valve covers and front cover, if your car is a Gen1...polish the intake tubes. Black accents on that combo in a Silver engine bay........

probably just going to do fresh black on the cross over and valve covers. Everything else will just be cleaned.

Paint it "Lincoln Gold" with brushed valve covers like the original 368 Y-block in the '56-'57 Mark II's.

Although great idea, that would be ugly. Unless you have a spring edition....then your whole car is ugly.
