Not particularly important as far as repairs go, but i always wonder what members on here look forward to...

Im looking forward to Ben putting some tires on those VW wheels and Alex posting a video of his turbo LS :D

For those a arms to get worked on to help out with the stance situation.

Apparently, as of today, those forged rods and hopefully pistons.

+1 to ben's wheels.

For Alex7's broken arm to heal > McAlex grille ?

I like seeing pictures of the LS. It really turns me on.

Oh the c-list thread is always a joy as well seeing all the good deals on parts and cars.

And most of all giving new members a really really hard time.

I always look forward to "members projects". Whether it be a frontend conversion or new wheels. I always look forward to see what my fellow LVC LS owners come up with.

I also look forward to my pic making the calendar, not !
Actually, I'm just going to order one and Fn attach my pic as the 13th month.

I look forward to newbies getting attacked and harassed. JK. I look forward to the common struggles and triumphs we all share with this unique platform.

+1 on Ben's LS. Alax, I've lost all hope for though :D

Just kidding!

Someone to settle the alternator issue once and for all. Although, it looks as if the DC option may be our answer. Speaking of, Hite.....did you ever reach out to them?

I also love the pics. While I don't want to be a sheep and follow the current trends, seeing what other members have done get my thoughts drifting to my own style.

Hacking up a young member is always worth a good laugh.

The mechanical insights calmed my fears a year ago when I was in love with the body style and all the negitive reports had me scared to own one. This site made me confident and as a result I have enjoyed more than a year of enjoyment of owning and driving such a quality car.

I look forward to the enthusiasm of this community for the cars we drive and enjoy.

Do a simple Google search, say 'Explorer broken air bypass doors' and you don't see a forum for Explorer owners and how they have dealt with the issue. At best you'll see something from 'Ask.com' or 'Yahoo answers' or the Youtube videos.

As we have seen from the MKS debacle, it's rare to see a certain make of car have a community of enthusiasts. I've also noticed other LS owners wave to each other. It's not Harley silly yet but it's happening and I expect it to become more prevalent as the average car guy can afford one.

And let not forget the kick butt commercials from back in the day...

I have not. I have some other things going on at the moment but I have not forgotten about this issue. I plan on buying an alternator from Wrangler Power systems soon and then if that doesnt work, I will be getting one from Ohio Generator.

I look forward to getting mine back from the body shop so I can get out of the FWD crackerbox I'm being forced to drive.

I look forward to the day when someone posts "hey, XYZ company just came out with a bolt-on supercharger solution for the LS!, and it's not too expensive!" - of course I'm dreaming on that one.

In all seriousness, I just like sharing solutions to problems with the car, and using the board to find answers to my questions and issues. For an 8 year old car with 170K on the clock, for it to be in as good a shape as it is I'm not complaining one bit. As far as repairs go, I've worked on MUCH worse, and now that I've gotten all the common stuff fixed, I'm looking forward to another 150K before I sell it or give it away to a family member :)

That's what I look forward to as well!

I look forward to seeing everyones ideas and thoughts. It's nice because you can, for the most part, trust everyone on here instead of having someone with no knowledge of the LS try to tell you what to do.

If it wasn't for LVC I would have never done any mods to my LS.

Great wealth of knowledge and I learn something new everyday.
