no. The 93-96 Mark VIII engine is the same.
The 97-98 Mark VIII engine uses a different intake, and IMRC set up, as well as switching to C.O.P.
93-96 Mark VIII engine(only the words on the beauty cover changed in 95)
97-98 Mark VIII engine(97 had the alternator cover, 98 didnt)
