I am not putting down the mark8 whatsoever, but when I was a 16 the mark8 was coming out as the 94 model It was the ultimate car to me, it ranked right up there with the Lamborghini countach and Porsche's of the time. I wanted one so bad, but was tooo expensive, now I can pick one up for a few hundred bucks, and recently was given one because the fuel pump went out. I now own a 2000 LS it just seems so much more refined, and quicker w/o modification. I had a nice 97 mark right before the LS now. I Loved the mark but would never in a million years downtrade the ls for a mark. The mark is more like a mustang, and I have a mustang so what the point. Now The continental is a warmed over taurus. until 95 the conti was a taurus with air-ride, So whoever is telling you it is a warmed over taurus they have your car confused.
