ok guys, i dont exactly drive "normal" im looking for some what performance brakes. i need rotors and pads. i dont think that i need calipers, but ill let you be the judge of that.

so i need some nice quality rotors and pads. im not going to napa again, there rotors are :q:q:q:q and so are there pads. BTW im looking for ceramic pads NO SEMI METALLIC..

Thanks guys,

happy spring break

ok, so what would i need to swap my hubs?

i would need new hubs, rotors, and pads, and calipers.

would i be able to keep my old calipers, or would i have to get adapter brackets for the front calipers.

for the front you would need Hubs, calipers and brakets, pads and rotors.

for the rear you will need hubs, rotors, and relocation brackets for the rotors. you can retain your stock calipers.

rockauto.com if your not going to do the hub swap...wagner sells a good product...

so what is a entire hub swap going to cost? not including tires and wheels. just the hubs, brackets, calipers (front and back), and pads, and rotors.

I got a really good deal on mine and im going to have about $2500 in mine, but that includes everything, even the wheels.

i think im just going to stick to my stock hubs. all though it would be nice to have the mustang bolt pattern

You could always go cobra brakes and have rotors destinies for Lincoln but would need 17inch or bigger wheels Or go 99-04 mustang and mustang GT front brakes but be aware rotor is slightly smaller then mark viii rotor

x2, i bought the 55 dollar rotors from their for my old marquis and they warped within the first 6 months. Never tried they're pads. I buy the cheapos at pep boys..Around 28 bucks a piece iirc..Used em on a 05 altima, my mark, malibu and my marquis..No problems. Can't skimp on pads though.

well i got my pads, rotors and calipers.. the whole brake system is over heat, and rusted... the brakes are 8 months old... and i hate to even touch the brake peddle... the worst sound ever.. i swear

If you dont want to spend the money go with a higher end brake pad and rotor, but will you will have to pay considerably more.

I know they are not high end, but I have had REALLY good luck with R1 Concepts in the past. I put 30k mi on a set of drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads from them, and never had one issue.

When it comes time to replace my rotors and pads for the cobra stuff I just put on, I will be going back to R1 Concepts.
