Hey all. It's been a bit since I've posted. I had a 88 Towncar, but It got smashed, and in my seach for a new car, my friends dad happened to have an 87 of his own. And he gave it to me, for free! I was exicted...untill I saw it. Anyway Ive been driving it arround for awile, but, Im moving to Florada, and Im going to sell the car...so how much do you think I should ask for it?

Well - I know what its like to be thankful you at least HAVE a car, regardless of condition. Ive been there. Hopefully you can find a better lincoln when you get to Florida.

I should mention the engine was rebuilt and only has like 25grand on it.

Mine is a rolling headache. Engine has exactly 8 miles on it thus far because the transmission blew up. So far in the 4 months I've owned this thing, I've done both front calipers, both front sets of wheel bearings, a new rotor, new engine (totally rebuilt HO swap), front sway bar endlinks, universal joints, door hinges, new lock motor on the driver's side, gas shocks for the hood, rebuilt the switches for the power seat. This weekend sometime I'll install another transmission and trans mount. In theory that should get me going again.

Nah, thats my neihbors car. Its a hunk a junk. It dosent even run, and its got bees nests in it- well, during the summer it does.

So, anyways, how much do you guys think I should ask for my car?

To be perfectly honest, with that much body damage its probably not worth much aside from parts car status. If not for the fact I've already put a new engine in mine, I'd consider buying it for the motor and trans, as well as some other stuff, but I lack the room to keep it. If you decide to junk it, and wouldn't mind selling some parts off it first, give me a ring. If that hood is black, I could use it to replace the spray painted one I have, and the driver's side front marker light is intact, unlike mine.
