I am the new owner of a 94 Town Car. I do not have the manual to the car. When I turn the car on everything is fine. When I accelerate to about 15 mph or more the anti lock brake light dings and comes on.

Is this a warning or a feature?

Al, the ABS light should blink on when you first start the car and stay lit for a couple seconds then go out. Like Steve said, first check the brake fluid level. If that's not it, you'll have to check the ABS fuse in the block on the passenger side behind the battery. If that's good, you'll need to check the connections on the ABS sensors on the wheels to make sure there are clean connections and no breaks in the wires. Good luck with the TC. What color is it? Get pics! :p

Hi cosancollc

There is a 99.% chance you have a poor signal from a wheel sensor, you can check the wheel sensors with an ohms meter, unplug the sensors, probe two pins with an ohms meter, if you compare all four sensors if one is faulty it will give an obviously erroneous reading.
