Hello :) im 17 and i just bought a 93 mark viii with 94,000 miles , when i got it, it had a cold air intake on it, popped a new filter on it just in case. ive had the muffler and resonator deleted just to get a little bit of sound before i go for the full exhaust. i have an issue im trying to figure out that i need some help on, first of all my shifting is rough sometimes "delayed" i guess you could say? but only around 45-55mph. i plan on changing the trans fluid and filter, is that easy to do or should i take it to a shop? i also heard about cleaning the imrc as they can get stuck sometimes, where would they be on a 93?

Diagnosis of car problems online suck
So here it goes
The mark viii shifted slow/sloppy from the factory. Hopefully this is what you are feeling. The car needs a becontrols. Shift kit or j mod
The filter and fluid are fairly straightforward. Use mercon v for new fluid.
The imrc's are under the intake manifold
And you should be able to reach behind the motor and move the imrc by hand to see if they are stuck.
